Hello there. My name is Henry and this is my blog.
I write about simple things: adventures at my local library; experiments with minimalism; the joy of riding a bicycle; lounging on a park bench; contemplating the night sky; sharing a home-cooked meal. That sort of thing.
Why? Because it seems that learning to appreciate these modest pleasures and everyday experiences, rather than endlessly pursuing more, might be the best way to enjoy life. A simple but considered life, accompanied by a sense of having enough.
I also like to dollop some silliness on my stories. Let’s keep things lighthearted and not succumb to constant severity.
And finally, this blog is about living light to preserve our future. When we consume less and slow down, we reduce our impact on the planet and take a tiny, joyful step towards sustainability.
New posts will be published on Sunday mornings, every other week.
